Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Raleigh, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We love this place so much. The owners and staff are such amazing people and they truly make you feel welcome and appreciated. I dont even have to order anymore because she always knows exactly what we want. (We order the same thing every time now lol) The food is so delicious π it is flavorful, large portions and we always leave full and happy. We get the fried pork belly vermicelli, pork bΓ‘nh mi & beef/brisket phα». If you have no idea what to order, you can NEVER go wrong with a pork bΓ‘nh mi sandwich. They are amazing π everything there is amazing and it is, by far our favorite phα»/Vietnamese restaurant (we have been to many in the triangle area) I have 2 girls, one is still a baby. I came in one day hungry and not able to eat my food because the little one wouldn't sit still and the owner Christine came and scooped her up and walked her around while I ate my meal. So thoughtful & I will always appreciate that! Thank you Will, Christine and everyone else who works there (kitchen staff, chefs and servers) so much for being so kind and wonderful to our family. We love you all so much π -The Williams Family-

Really special place, kind staff, and amazing food. We had the #12 and #15 which are vegetarian, and the 3 bean for dessert. They have a lot of really good veggie options to choose from. It was all so good!!! Iβll definitely be coming back!!! The fish are really cute tooπͺΈ

I go to a lot of Pho places. This one is unusually good, healthy tasting, kind of home style broth and beef flavors. The fresh rolls are also way better than what you get in most other places, nice mix of vegetables cut in different sizes, shrimp and a slice of pork artfully made. Top notch.

Uptown Pho might be tucked away in a small spot, but itβs easy to find and absolutely worth the visit. The moment you walk in, the staff greet you warmly and make you feel right at home. The space is cozy β small, yet never cramped β with a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for a great meal. But the real standout here is the food. The pho is incredibly flavorful, with rich, aromatic broth and fresh ingredients that make every bite satisfying. Itβs easily one of the best pho experiences Iβve had β authentic, balanced, and generous in portion. You can taste the care that goes into every bowl. If youβre looking for a comforting, delicious meal served with genuine hospitality, Uptown Pho is a must-visit.
